So Many Happy Birthdays Stars

I just love the So Many Stars Bundle, It really is more versatile than just a set for the Christmas Season.

It’s a friend of the family’s birthday and sometimes it is hard to make a male birthday card but I think this is just perfect for our friend who is a real STAR!

Measurements:

  • Base: Whisper White 5 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ or 14cm x 10.5cm
  • Layer 1 Blueberry Bushel 5 3/8″ x 4″ or 13.6cm x 10.2cm
  • Layer 2 Shimmery White 5 1/4″ x 3 7/8″ or 13.3cm x 9.8cm

As I wanted to use my aqua painter, I used Shimmery White paper for this project but you could always use watercolour paper if you prefer.

I started by putting some ink onto a block.

As from the photo above, you don’t need much ink. Dipping the aqua painter into this ink, I loaded up the nib and tried to make long strokes horizontally across the card stock. as per the photo below.

As you can see, that wasn’t always the case lol! I do like the finished look though and just keep painting until you get the look you are happy with.

Once dried, this can take around 30 mins depending on how wet your card stock became, I stamped some stars in Whisper White ink from the top left hand corner to the bottom right hand corner.

I cut out the larger star display using the So many Stars dies, Plus A Stitched Nested Label and Happy Birthday from the Well written Framelits.

Always stamp inside for a well finished look

I used Dimentionals to attach the label to the top layer and then the top ( second ) layer to the first layer.

Multipurpose glue was used to attach to the base card.

So do you like it? Will you be making something similar? I do hope so and if you do please send me a picture as I would love to see your version!

Thanks for reading Creative Fraggle, have a super day!

Love Lynda x
