Just a few layers, die cutting and embossing for this super card.
Measurements:
- Base: Very Vanilla 5 1/2″ x 8 1/4 scored at 4 1/8″ or 14cm x 21cm scored at 10.5cm
- Layer 1 Night of Navy 5 1/4″ x 3 7/8″ or 13.3cm x 9.8cm
- Layer 2 Brightly Gleaming DSP 5″ x 3 5/8″ or 12.7cm x 9.2cm
I had Die cut the main star ensemble in copper but wasn’t sure what else to do so I started playing with different layouts. I like to take photos as I do this so I can decide which I like best. It is especially helpful if you have a memory like mine! I often start moving bits and then can’t remember what I had done before but knowing it was much better than the way it is currently lol
Above is how I started! You might notice that the Layer 1 was Mossy Meadow, well that didn’t work for me!
I did like the sentiment though so I decided to emboss in copper, to co-ordinate with the die cut image.
I also chose not to use the little star in the end.
I used multi-purpose glue to attach the main stars but it would probably be easier to use Fine Tip Glue for this delicate image.
Super quick and easy. I did actually make a second card using Pretty Peacock as the Layer 1.
A quick stamp inside the card and yes another card made.
Don’t you just love DSP!
Thanks for reading Creative Fraggle and have a super stamping day!
Love Lynda x
