NEW WONDERS – THE WINNER IS JES!

Just recently I ran a competition on my Facebook page ( Creative Fraggle) to win the above card, which would be posted anywhere in the world to the winners special “person”

Jes was my winner and she has chosen to send this card to her sister in America. As Jes lives in Sydney, she wanted to let her sister know how much she misses her x

I live away form my family so I understand the importance of letting our loved ones know how much they mean to us!

This is another reason that this card is so special. It was made earlier in the year when I met up with my daughter for a holiday in Italy ( she lives in the UK) As you can imagine, I don’t get to see Cayleigh very often but when we do we just love to craft together!

As Cayleigh has been an Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator for several years, she now never leaves home without some of her craft things! Boy did we have plenty of craft things to choose from!

This card was made using 2 different stamp sets and also a Die set.

The card size is 7 2/8″ x 3 5/8′ scored at 3 5/8″

There is two extra layers in Whisper White

3 1/2 x 3 1/2″
3 3/8 x 3 3/8″

The leaves and the fairy were both stamped from the “New Wonders” stamp set and then “fussy cut” (this means hand cut) out and decorated using the Stampin’ Blends.

The Butterflies and the “YOU” were die cut form the “Well Written” Die set. They were then painted with a “Wink of Stella” so they can sparkle!

The sentiment was stamped from the “Free as a Bird” set onto another Piece of Whisper White measuring 3 3/8 x 1″.

The leaves were glued to the back of this piece of card stock. The “YOU” was also glued into place and then the lot was layered with a dimensional onto the smaller of the White layers, this was then layered onto the larger white piece again with Dimensionals.

This was finally layered onto the Granny Apple Green cardstock. The Fairy was also layered with Dimensional and the Butterflies were then glued into place

Can you see how much love and fun went into making this card! It was actually on this trip, that I decided to finally take the plunge and become a Demo!
