I like to try and make basic/ beginners cards and then add to them so that the avid stamper also has inspiration. This project takes the card from Brightly Gleaming DSP Ideas 3 and just adds another layer. It wasn’t needed but I just wanted to have a little more fun.
Measurements:
- Base: Very Vanilla 5 1/2″ x 8 1/4 scored at 4 1/8″ or 14cm x 21cm scored at 10.5cm
- Layer 1: Copper Foil 5 3/8″ x 4″ or 13.6cm x 10.2cm
- Layer 2: Mossy Meadow 5 1/4″ x 3 7/8″ or 13.3cm x 9.8cm
- Layer 3: Copper Foil 4 1/8″ x 1 3/4″ or 10.5cm x 4.4cm ( part of this will be covered by the DSP)
- Layer 4: Brightly Gleaming DSP 5″ x 1 7/8″ or 12.7cm x 4.8cm
Follow the base instructions as per Ideas 3 but instead of cutting 2 trees in Mossy Meadow, cut 4 instead.
2 of these you will need to emboss, using versa mark ink to stamp the image, Cooper embossing powders and a heat gun to seal the powder.
Curl the left hand side of the first embossed tree, then curl the right hand side of the second tree.
Then add glue to the uncurled half of each tree, one left side and one right. ( from the top to the bottom)
Attach these trees to the ones already on the card. This will give an extra dimension to the trees.
Once the glue has dried, re-curl each side of the trees that it really stands out.
I also added a little extra star to the top of the central tree.
Thanks for reading Creative Fraggle and have a super stamping day!
