Welcome to day 3 of my series: LOVE IT, CUT IT, USE IT!
A tutorial of how to start using and making the most of your beautiful DSP ( Designer Series Paper)
In this series I am only using one side of the two sided paper, this is because each pack contains 2 sheets of each design, I want to show you how many options you have for each side/sheet.
Card 1 – As I mentioned on DAY 1 I took one of the pieces of DSP (all of which measure 5 1/4 x 4 inches) and cut diagonally from one corner to another by lining up each corner along the cutting blade line, this gave me 2 triangles.
I then glued one piece directly onto my card base.
Stamping the sentiment “I love you THIS much” along the line of the DSP was my next step.
I stamped and then die cut a dinosaur which I then attached to the card using a dimensional.
If you take a closer look, I also used A Wink of Stella on the wings to give them that shimmer effect.
Card 2 – using the second triangle, I again just glued this directly onto the card base.
I then took a piece of Old Olive card stock measuring 3/4” and stamped the little mountains all along the middle in Old Olive ink..
This I also glued along the edge of the DSP and onto the card base I then carefully cut the edges to align with the base.
The final step was to stamp the sentiment “thanks for being a FRIEND-A-SAURUS” in Lovely Lipstick.
2 quite easy cards to make but I do think they look good. I hope you agree.
