Steve and I are so proud of our family, his two kids and my daughter plus our Granddaughter, Eva, they just mean the world to us. All 3 of our children are strong, determined and most importantly, kind.
As such we really like to take time to let them know how special they are to us, phone calls, holidays and of course cards!
Much the same as when I made his sister’s card I wanted a square card so I cut my Whisper White Card stock to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4″ ( 14.6cm x 14.6cm).
This time I wanted the card to be a bit different so I thought I would try using Pigment sprinkles, I stamped the “Amazing” stamp onto a piece of Shimmery White card stock ( perfect for watercolours) in Whisper White Pigment Ink and then embossed with white embossing powder.
I used my aqua painter to wet the paper and then sprinkled the pigments all over the card, I then used my aqua painter again to mix the sprinkles, the effect is below:
I do like it but it just didn’t feel right for this card so I have put that to one side just in case I decide to use it for another card 🙂
I used the largest of the Nested Dies to cut out another centre piece, this time stamping the “Amazing” in Cherry Cobbler. The other sentiments were stamped in Blueberry Bushel.
The SON was die cut using the Large number framelits which unfortunately have been retired. I sparkled these using a “Wink of Stella”. These were glued directly onto the card stock using Multipurpose glue.
The Amazing was layered onto the card using Dimentionals along with the fussy cut balloons.
Quite a simple card but I think it is AMAZING, just like Matthew!
Have an amazing Birthday Matthew!
Thanks for reading Creative Fraggle!
Have a wonderful day x
