It’s my step-daughters birthday today 🙂
She is such an amazing lady that I wanted to make her an amazing card to show her how proud we are of her.
She has recently had to undergo an horrendous operation but she has kept smiling and stayed positive all the way through the slow recovery time. I just hope she is well enough to have an amazing birthday without getting too tired x
I wanted a square card so I cut my Whisper White Card stock to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4″ ( 14.6cm x 14.6cm)
I stamped the “Amazing” stamp onto a piece of card stock in Melon Mambo and then using the Rectangle Die size 2 3/4″ x 4 1/8″ I cut out the rectangle. I used the next size rectangle to cut out the Melon Mambo card stock.
The rest of the text was stamped in Grapefruit Grove.
As I currently don’t have a Daughter stamp sentiment I used the Well Written stamp set. I stamped the words “GRADUATION” and “HEARTFELT” and then cut out the individual letters.
I then arranged these onto a piece of Tear & Tape ( This is double sided tape, which is super good for this) Once this was done I fussy cut to the shape I wanted and attached to a piece of Melon Mambo card which I also Fussy cut.
I then decorated my card base, using most of the stamps from Everything Amazing:
I actually added an extra sentiment after I took the photo which was also from the Well Written set – ” FAR APART BUT CLOSE AT HEART” as Keels is in the UK so definitely FAR apart x
I stamped 3 sets of extra balloons which again I fussy cut, then attached to the card.
A bit of WINK of Stella finished the card.
