It’s been a short while since I did my Dino Days DSP Series, so I thought I would have fun with the Christmas paper and see if I could use it to inspire you with other options of how to cut.
After cutting the 12”x12” DSP into 6 pieces each measuring 3 7/8” x 5 1/4”, I decided that I would cut out a scalloped edge circle using one of my circle dies. I will use the discarded piece another day for another project.
Measurements:
- Base: Very Vanilla 5 1/2″ x 8 1/4 scored at 4 1/8″ or 14cm x 21cm scored at 10.5cm
- Layer 1 Mossy Meadow 5 3/8″ x 4″ or 13.6cm x 10.2cm
- Layer 2 Brightly Gleaming DSP 5 1/4″ x 3 7/8″ or 13.3cm x 9.8cm
I then took the Large Christmas Tree from my “Most Wonderful Time’ Stamp set and stamped onto the Mossy Meadow cardstock in Versa Mark being careful to ensure that the tree was lined up for the circle in the DSP.
I added the embossing powders, then heat sealed the stamp design.
I added Dimensionals to the back of the DSP and attached to layer 1 cardstock.
I then attached this with multi purpose glue directly to the base layer.
I die cut the Copper star and attached to the tree.
Using the smaller tree, I stamped the inside of the card. I chose the sentiment from the So many Stars Stamp set.
I also used this set for the envelope.
Thanks for reading Creative Fraggle, have a super day!
