The sun is shining again today so I feel especially lucky and blessed to live in such a beautiful place. It is still spring here and what such a Beautiful Season it is!
As I am preparing my Christmas cards I saw the sentiment “May you enjoy this Beautiful Season” and knew this had to be the inspiration for todays blog post!
It will be Summer here when it is Christmas and yes another stunning season filled with bright days and warm starry nights.
I think this card really captures the season well, don’t you?
Measurements:
- Base: Whisper White (WW) – 5 1/2″ x 4 1/8″
- Nested Label WW 5 1/4″ x 3 7/8″ ( keep the outer for future projects)
I started out by stamping the little starts all over the base of the card to create my own DSP.
Using a piece of WW, I used the second largest from the Nested Label Dies to cut out my centre piece ( I made sure to put this centrally on the card stock so the outer piece can be used an another project) I then ran the edge of the cut card stock along the stamp pad to have a slight border (see photo below)
From the so many Stars Dies set I chose two images and added these to my centre. I finished off by adding 3 rhinestones and using Dimenisonals I gave lift to the card.
I sometimes forget to include a photo of the inside but I do always stamp inside to finish off the card.
I wanted to keep this card simple but stunning, a summery feel to a Christmas full of starry nights!
