Most Wonderful Sparkle!

Time to get festive again!

This card was another one that I made with my daughter Cayleigh May, on the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Incentive cruise around the Greek Islands earlier in the year.

The set comes with so much product, it is FAB!

Measurements:

  • Base: 8″ x 4″
  • DSP 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
  • Score Base at 4″

I decided to part paint the DSP by using an Aqua painter and Old Olive ink. As you will see form the photo above, I just randomly went back and forth across the paper with a small amount of colour loaded onto the pen.

I like the effect it creates and think it just adds a little more to the effect of the card.

I attached an Oval using a second design from the co-ordinating DSP.

I stamped and then die-cut the first tree.

The second tree is one of the stickers from the set. I attached part of this tree to the first tree. As the second tree is sticky I used the embossing buddy to remove the stickiness as I knew I wanted this image to be raised.

Once I had removed the stickiness, I attached both trees directly onto the Oval using several of the mini dimensionals.

I added the Shimmery Crystal Effects and Ice Stampin Glitter to both trees before adding the Raindeer, again I needed to remove the stickiness before attaching with dimensionals.

I cut two different oblong shapes from co-ordinating DSP sheets and then layered a sentiment on top.

It really is a lovery sparkly Christmas card.

Thanks for reading Creative Fraggle, have a super day!
